How to List on Vinted Without Automation: A Simple Manual Cross-Listing Workflow
Your cross-listing tool dropped Vinted? A simple manual workflow: photos, draft title and description, measurements, flaws, then paste and post it yourself.
If you've been relying on a cross-listing tool to get your stock onto Vinted, you may have noticed things changing. Some cross-listing tools have stopped offering Vinted to new users, and if your usual tool no longer supports Vinted for new accounts, you're probably wondering what to do instead.
The honest answer is simple: list on Vinted yourself. That sounds slower, but with a bit of prep it doesn't have to be. Most of the time in a listing goes on writing, not tapping "Upload". Get the words ready before you open the app and posting each item takes a couple of minutes.
Here's a practical manual workflow for UK sellers who sell across a few apps and want Vinted back in the mix.
Why manual can actually work in your favour
Posting by hand means you see every listing before it goes live. You can pick the right category, choose the honest condition option and check the photos are in the right order. You can also add the little touches that make Vinted buyers trust you, like a clear measurement line or a "see photo 5" next to a flaw.
It also means one less thing to break. Nothing posts on your behalf, so you stay in control of what goes up and when.
The manual Vinted workflow, step by step
1. Shoot your photos once, for every app
Take one good set of photos and use it everywhere: front, back, label, close-up of fabric or detail, and every flaw. Natural daylight, plain background, no filters. Save them to an album on your phone so they're easy to find when you open Vinted.
2. Draft the title and description before you open Vinted
Write the listing in a notes app (or draft it from your photos) first. Typing on the Vinted screen while juggling photo uploads is where mistakes creep in.
- Title: brand + item + key detail + size. "Barbour quilted jacket, olive, UK 12". Keep it short and searchable.
- Description: a one-line summary, size and fit, measurements, colour and material, condition and flaws. Our guide on how to write a Vinted description (UK) walks through this structure with examples.
3. Add measurements and flaws (the bit you can't skip)
This is the part no tool can do for you. Lay the item flat, measure in centimetres and note they're approximate. Then look over the item properly and write down every flaw: what it is, where it is and how noticeable it is.
Measurements (approx, laid flat): pit to pit 54cm · length 66cm · sleeve 60cm Condition: very good. Small mark inside the collar, not visible when worn (photo 6).
4. Paste into Vinted
Open the Vinted app, upload your photos in order, then paste your title and description into the right boxes. Pick the category, brand, size, condition and colour from Vinted's own options so buyers can find you through filters. Set your price and parcel size.
5. Read it once, then publish
Give it a final check on your phone screen. Does the size match the label? Do the measurements match your notes? Is every flaw mentioned and shown? Then hit upload.
Keeping your listings in sync across apps (by hand)
If you sell the same piece on Vinted, eBay and Depop, the risk is selling it twice. A few low-effort habits help:
- Keep a simple stock list. A spreadsheet or notes file with item, where it's listed and status is plenty.
- Use the same facts everywhere. Size, measurements, condition and flaws should match word for word. Only the tone and format change per app.
- Mark sold straight away. When something sells on one app, remove or edit it on the others before you do anything else.
- Batch your listing sessions. Draft ten items in one go, then post them on each app in turn. It's faster than switching back and forth item by item.
Where drafting help fits
If writing is the slow part for you, ListSnaps can help with that step: Photo in. Listing out. You upload your photos and get a draft title and description to work from. You then copy it, check it against the item and paste it into Vinted yourself. ListSnaps doesn't connect to your Vinted account or post anything for you. It just saves you the typing.
You'll still want to add your own measurements and flaw notes. A draft is a starting point, not a final check.
Try the Vinted listing generator, or start from the AI listing generator if you sell across several apps. There are also drafts for eBay and Depop, which you paste yourself in the same way. On Free and Plus, each fresh draft for another marketplace uses another generation; on Pro, you can reformat the same draft for other marketplaces in the app without using an extra generation.
FAQ
Can I still cross-list to Vinted if my tool doesn't support it? Yes. You can list the same item on Vinted by hand alongside your other apps. Draft the copy once, then paste it into Vinted and post it yourself.
Is listing manually on Vinted slow? Not if you prep first. With photos and text ready, posting an item usually takes a couple of minutes. Batching helps a lot.
Should I copy my eBay description straight into Vinted? Reuse the facts, but tidy the wording. Vinted buyers are on their phones, so short lines and clear labels work best. Keep size, measurements and flaws identical.
How do I avoid selling the same item twice? Keep a simple stock list and remove the item from other apps as soon as it sells anywhere.
Does ListSnaps post to Vinted for me? No. ListSnaps drafts the title and description from your photos. You review it, copy it and post it yourself in Vinted.
How much does ListSnaps cost? Free gives you 5 generations a month. Plus is $9 a month for 100. Pro is $15 a month for unlimited, with priority AI. See pricing.
