We process personal data under UK GDPR (and the UK Data Protection Act 2018) and, when we offer the service to people in the EEA, under EU GDPR.

What we do
You upload product photos; we use AI to generate listing text (and optional Pinterest pin copy) you can use on marketplaces such as Poshmark, eBay, Depop, Vinted, Mercari, and Amazon. Marketplace listings are copy/paste only. We do not auto-post to those marketplaces, and we do not offer marketplace OAuth (no eBay/Poshmark/Depop/Mercari/Vinted Connect).
Plans:
- Free: $0/month · 5 generations per month · no credit card required
- Plus: $9/month · 100 generations per month
- Pro: $15/month · unlimited generations, priority AI, and bulk generation
Prices include VAT and sales tax where applicable. Listings and Pinterest pin generations share the same monthly generation allowance (see Pricing / Terms).
Sign-in: email/password and/or Google, powered by Supabase Auth.
Billing: paid plans via Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
Pinterest (optional Connect): If you choose to connect your Pinterest account from the App, we request permission to read your boards and create pins and boards. We store your Pinterest username and encrypted access tokens, and only post a pin when you tap Post to Pinterest. When you do, we send that listing's first photo, title, description, hashtags, and link to Pinterest. You can generate draft pin text without connecting your Pinterest account. Generating a Pinterest pin uses one monthly generation. You can disconnect at any time from your Account page (which deletes the stored connection); you can also revoke access in your Pinterest settings.
What we collect
Account and service data
- Account: email, name/display name, sign-in method (email/password or Google), account settings
- Billing: plan and Stripe customer/subscription IDs and payment status (Stripe holds card details)
- Your content: photos you upload, generated listings / pin drafts, history, Trash (Pro)
- Where you heard about us: if you choose to answer the optional question after sign up, we save your answer on your account to see which channels work. It is kept while your account exists and deleted with it.
- Usage: generation counts needed to run the service, and simple sign up and usage steps only if you allow Analytics
- Support: emails you send to hello@listsnaps.com
- Pinterest (only if you Connect): Pinterest username, encrypted access tokens, and metadata needed to complete posts you start
Page views and analytics
Before you make a cookie choice, or if you say no to Analytics, we keep only a basic page-view count, so we know which pages are visited. We save nothing on your device for analytics, and we don't store your IP address with it. Each page view records:
- the page you viewed and when
- the website that sent you there, by site name only, if your browser shares it
- the campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), if it had any, so we know which ads and links bring visits
If you allow Analytics in Cookie settings, we also record:
- a random visitor_id saved in your browser, only if you allow Analytics
- the full address of the page that sent you there, and basic browser and device details
- the campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content) and whether it was a Facebook ad click (yes or no only, not the click ID)
- simple sign up and usage steps: opening the sign up page, sending the sign up form, the code being sent, confirming your email with the code or the link, making your first listing, reaching the Free limit and selecting upgrade
Your visitor_id is never linked to your user account. When you're signed in and have allowed Analytics, sign up and usage steps are recorded against your account instead, not against the visitor_id. We also use your account activity where needed to run the product (for example generation counts).
We do not sell your personal data.
Signup attribution (UTM)
If you allowed Analytics before signing up, then when you create an account we save the campaign link you used to reach ListSnaps on your profile, so we can see how new users found us. If you didn't allow Analytics, we don't save it. This can include:

We use this for product and growth analytics, not to sell your data.
Why we use it
- To run your account and generate listings / pin drafts
- To bill Plus/Pro via Stripe
- Security and abuse prevention
- Product analytics: a basic page-view count, and, only if you allow Analytics, a visitor ID, campaign link (UTM) attribution and sign up step tracking. Analytics is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To complete Pinterest posts you start, if you Connect
AI: Photos go to Google's Gemini vision AI only to create your listings / pin drafts. We do not use your photos or listing content to train AI models.

Marketplaces (Poshmark, eBay, Depop, Vinted, Mercari, Amazon, etc.) only get your listing when you paste and publish there.
How long we keep it
- While your account is open
- On Pro, deleted items stay recoverable in Trash for 30 days, then are permanently removed
- On Free and Plus, deleted items are permanently removed straight away (we ask you to confirm first)
- Hosting-provider (Lovable Cloud) backups are retained for approximately 14 days
- Cancelling a paid plan (Plus or Pro) does not delete your account. Your account moves to Free automatically when your paid period ends, or straight away if you cancel immediately or a renewal payment fails. You can keep using Free until you delete your account.
- Billing / payment records are kept for at least 6 years as required by accounting rules
- Page-view records: kept for up to 13 months, then deleted
- UTM / signup attribution fields on your profile (only saved if you allowed Analytics): kept while the account exists (or until you ask us to erase them where erasure is available)
- Sign up and usage step records (only if you allow Analytics): kept for up to 13 months, then deleted
- Your visitor_id: stays in your browser until you clear it, turn Analytics off, or your cookie choice expires
- The saved campaign link in your browser (only if you allow Analytics): removed once it's saved to your account, after 30 days, or when you turn Analytics off
- Your cookie choice: saved in your browser for 12 months, then we ask again
- Pinterest Connect tokens: deleted when you disconnect (or revoke in Pinterest); related post metadata may remain with your listing history while the account is open
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your data.
Email hello@listsnaps.com (subject: Privacy request) or use Account settings. We aim to reply within about 30 days.
Children & security
18+ only. We don't knowingly collect data from under-18s.
We use TLS and access controls. No system is 100% secure, so please use a strong password.
Changes
We'll update this page and the static "Last updated" date when we change it. For big changes we'll notify you in-app or by email where appropriate.
