Does eBay charge fees on shipping and sales tax?
Yes. The final value fee is a percentage of the total amount of the sale, which includes the item price, shipping you charge the buyer and sales tax. If you offer free shipping, there is no fee on shipping.
What is the per-order fee?
$0.30 for orders of $10.00 or less, and $0.40 for orders over $10.00.
Do sneakers have lower fees?
Yes. Athletic shoes with a total sale of $150.00 or more pay 8% and no per-order fee. Under $150.00 they pay the normal clothing rate.
How are promoted listing fees worked out?
With General ads you pick a rate from 2% to 100%, charged on the total sale amount including shipping and tax, only if the item sells after a click on your ad.
